Pacific Islands & Hawaii

Why Go?

Well why not! its a tropical paradise, with the warmest of people to boot. Lagoons and rainbow coloured fish, emerald green jungles, white sands and aquamarine seas, and add in the odd Volcano.
The Polynesian spirit runs throughout the islands, with American, British and French influences apparent. With lots of islands from Hawaii to Tahiti, wartime stories, famous residents, and centuries of history, you will not be bored, only fascinated and wanting more.

May to October is the milder dry season hovering around 25C, the wet season between November and April is more humid and risk of cyclones. Hawaii is hottest during June to August, but peak time is winter months as still mild and attracts whales by the 100's, the humpback comes to give birth, you can be surrounded by them.

POLYNESIA (1-6) MELANESIA (7) - MICRONESIA

Be aware:
These areas are a long way away from the UK and as such takes some time to get there, so combining a stay and cruise holiday is definitely worth it.
When cruising from North America or from Australia to these islands you will be at sea for some days, and its open Ocean, so for those that need it take some sea sickness tablets with you, as water can be choppy. Some of the islands are tender only ports as you cannot dock large ships.
Due to the location of the Islands, imports are expensive, so you will find these expensive places to visit and certainly to buy gifts from.
